Coming in August!

This is my boy, Imbir', one of five full-size horses, three Miniature mares, and a large standard donkey that form part of our animal family.  Imbir' is an 11 year old, homebred Half-Arabian, half Curly gelding. You'll be hearing a lot more about Imbir'!

I'll be posting to this blog starting in mid-August 2012, when my current book for Storey Publishing is finished and I have more time to write.

Background: I bought my first horse when I was 12 and have had horses and donkeys continually since then. Horses have been part of my life for 53 years. As a full-time writer I wrote for a wide array of horse magazines over a period of several decades and have over 200 published articles under my belt. I also wrote The Donkey Companion for Storey Publishing. Now I'm writing an ebook about economical horsekeeping. That's where this blog comes in.

I've always kept happy, healthy horses at minimal cost and so can you. Check back in August to learn how!
